Rescue training programme for students

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has started a programme in various educational institutions across the province to train the students on tackling emergency situation.

A spokesman of Rescue 1122, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa told Radio Pakistan that the training programme has been initiated in government schools, colleges and universities.

He said more than 200,000 students have so far been trained in tackling emergency situation including natural calamities, road accidents, fire extinguishing and epidemics. (APP)
