UAE announce autumn friendlies

The UAE national team have announced four autumn friendlies in the run up to their hosting of January’s Asian Cup. Alberto Zaccheroni’s side will play Trinidad and Tobago on September 6, Laos on September 11, Honduras on October 11 and Venezuela on October 16.

More proposed friendlies against Paraguay, Jamaica and Costa Rica could also be announced next week. The UAE face Bahrain, India and Thailand in Group A of the Asian Cup from January 5, 2019 to February 1.
