March 2018: Welcoming Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the White House, Trump halts Washington’s quest for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinia­n conflict, saying he would back a single state if it led to peace.

May 2018: US embassy officially transferre­d from

Tel Aviv to occupied Jerusalem.

August 2018: US cancels more than $200 million in aid for Palestinia­ns in the Gaza Strip and West Bank.

September 2018: Washington says it plans to cut $25 million in aid to hospitals primarily serving Palestinia­ns in occupied Jerusalem.
