Thumbay opens two hospitals

Ajman Ruler inaugurates physical therapy and dental hospitals

The Thumbay Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Hospital and Thumbay Dental Hospital opened in Ajman yesterday.

His Highness Shaikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, officially inaugurated the hospitals in the presence of Dr Thumbay Moideen, founder president, Thumbay Group.

The rehabilitation hospital features facilities such as a hydrotherapy pool and a cryotherapy chamber, among others, for physical therapy. The dental hospital has 60 dental chairs on three floors. It will also train students of undergraduate and proposed postgraduate courses of the College of Dentistry, Gulf Medical University.

Spread over three floors, the hospital features a ‘Therapeutic Garden’ designed to offer patients a positive experience during their recovery. It is attached to Thumbay University Hospital Complex, having 50 dedicated beds especially for rehab. Thumbay Dental Hospital has a built-up area of 37,000 square feet.
