Photography Studio Opening and Book Launch

Launch of the photography studio with an exhibition by photographer Jassim Al Awadhi entitled ‘The Presence of Absence’. As part of the launch, visitors can explore the space which will bring the UAE’s photography community together. The artist will also host a lecture and discussion about his exhibited works and experience. At the Photography Studio, Manarat Al Saadiyat, 6-10pm. Free entry.

Rethink Plastic

Yas Mall is raising awareness about the devastating impact of plastic pollution, by launching a ‘rethink plastic’ campaign. Visitors can exchange plastic bags for eco-friendly shopping bags and make a commitment to reduce plastic waste. Working with social media personalities Ola Al Fares and Bin Baz, to create practical canvas bags, visitors to Yas Mall all can simply bring used plastic bags to Yas Mall’s Town Square and trade them in for a more sustainable replacement bag. From 10am–10pm today and Saturday and 10am-midnight tomorrow and Friday.

Big Fat Quiz

Quiz night for trivia buffs, filled with sports, current affairs, film, music and general knowledge questions, hosted by Dane.
