Illegal ladies salon raided in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development and police raided an apartment in Abu Dhabi where a ladies salon was operating without a licence.

The police seized equipment and issued fines to staff who were working in the salon without licences. Ahmad Tarish Al Qubaisi, acting director of the commercial protection division at the department, said the department received a tip-off that an unlicensed beauty salon was being run from an apartment and inspectors raided the apartment and confiscated equipment.
