The Shadows

CBC Podcasts makes its first foray into the world of audio fiction with The Shadows, a story about the anatomy of love: a crush, a choice, a resentment and the inevitable end. The story follows Kaitlin, a young artist struggling to make great work and find great love. She believes that the love depicted in Hollywood movies is real, and that she will be one of the lucky ones to find it. When Kaitlin falls for someone who challenges her romantic ideal, she is faced with an impossible choice, and a decision that can’t be unmade.

The show is created and produced by Kaitlin Prest; some of you will remember her as the creator of The Heart, a non-fiction podcast on all things love and intimacy, that ended late last year.
