Gulf News Dubai’s lectern-shaped library 2018-09-14 - ■ Antonin Kélian Kallouche/Gulf News The Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Library being built at Al Jaddaf, Dubai, at a cost of Dh1 billion. The massive library has been designed in the shape of a lectern and covers 66,000 square metres. The project consists of a main building with basement, ground floor and seven floors, in addition to a central warehouse for books. It will house manuscripts and documents, in addition to artefacts from Al Maktoum family collection.
