Unique artworks designed by technicians using discarded automobile parts and scrap material will be showcased at an upcoming exhibition by Al Tayer Motors.
Titled ‘Unseen Potential’, the exhibition will showcase nearly 90 art pieces created as part of an internal competition organised for the technicians of Al Tayer Motors and Premier Motors.
Proceeds from the exhibition, which will be held from September 14—22, will support UAE-approved charitable causes, Al Tayer Motors announced.
More than 350 technicians from 11 locations across the UAE participated in the two-month long contest designed to enhance their teamwork and highlight their artistic abilities.
Unusable material
Together they created art objects from seemingly unusable material using their imagination to tap into the unseen potential in the waste.
Working during their spare time, the teams of technicians fashioned some “spectacular ■ ■ ■ ■

creations” such as animal figures, vehicles, insects, flowers, birds, musical instruments, robots, and more.
“This is the second time we have organised such a competition and once again it witnessed enthusiastic participation from our talented technicians who have created some remarkable pieces of art,” said Boulos Massoud, Senior Vice President After-sales, Al Tayer Motors. “Fostering a work culture that recognises employees for their efforts and providing opportunities to display their talents plays a strong role in creating a happy workforce.”
Visitors to the exhibiti can even place bids for their favourite pieces.
