The clash of a titan

Serena Williams is a legend, and legends have off days. I think despite the pressure she was in to win, Williams raised good points. We have seen women get penalised time and again for things, male players don’t get scolded for. She raised some valid concerns. I am happy this conversation has started. If it has happened in the past then it should stop. Maybe this whole situation needs to be reviewed again. On the other hand, Naomi Osaka did a great job and she is a rising star. It is sad that such a big and important victory was overshadowed by all this controversy. I hope she knows that she deserves this win and she played a great match. Hopefully in the future she will win more tournaments and will have a real moment of glory.
