The weather is expected to get hotter over the next three days across the UAE, with daytime temperatures rising up to 45 degrees Celsius.

According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), hot and hazy weather will prevail in most parts of the country today, with a similar forecast for Sunday and Monday.

Yesterday also saw hot and dusty conditions in many parts, with highs of 45C and lows of 23C in the internal areas, while coastal areas saw the temperatures ranging between 43C and 26C.

In the mountains, the mercury ranged from 37C to 24C, aided by moderate winds.

Elsewhere, moderate winds kicked up dust, turning the atmosphere hazy, while relative humidity went up, especially in the coastal areas.

The NCM bulletin noted that conditions are expected to be similar until Monday, after which the mercury is likely to ease.

Humidity is likely to be on the higher side during the nights and early morning over coastal and internal areas, and fog or mist may form, especially westward. The sea will be slight to moderately rough in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman.

According to Met officials, some clouds will appear eastward and may become convective by afternoon today. Winds are expected to be northeasterly to southeasterly, with average speeds of 15-30km/h and going up to 38km/h, blowing up dust during the day.

Similar windy conditions are expected on Sunday as well. Meanwhile, the wind is expected to ease slightly on Monday and Tuesday, with the average speed going down slightly to 15-25km/h.
