46,000 fake cartridges for printers seized

UAE authorities have helped seize more than 46,000 ready-for-sale counterfeit HP and Samsung-branded toner cartridges this year, HP said in a statement yesterday. In April UAE officials carried out major raids on several private residences and farms where significant numbers of HP and Samsung-branded illicit products were found hidden in storage areas. The operation helped halt the trade of counterfeit cartridges across the UAE and in international markets. (Staff Report)
