Five-day anti-polio drive in Rawalpindi

A five-day anti-polio drive will commence in Rawalpindi district on September 24. During the campaign, 2,181 polio teams would go door-to-door and administer polio drops to 840,000 children less than five years of age, health department official Dr Khalid Mehmood told APP here yesterday.

Staff deployed for the campaign have been issued special instructions, and any negligence in the vaccination administering will be tolerated. 287 centres and 287 transit points have been designated for the purpose.
