Goo Ha-ra investigated for assault

Goo Ha-ra, former member of K-Pop girl group Kara, is under investigation for allegedly assaulting her boyfriend after he tried to end their relationship.

The 27-year-old unnamed boyfriend called the police to file a complaint claiming the South Korean singer and actress assaulted him at her flat in Seoul but the singer claimed that the violence was two-sided, according to Gangnam Police Station. The pair will be called in for questioning for further investigation. On Saturday, Goo was admitted to the hospital for treatment after the incident. Goo was previously hospitalised for indigestion and sleep disorder treatment, despite rumours of an attempted suicide, which her agency refuted.
