Nearly 25% of data breaches trigger sackings

-

Almost 25 per cent of data breaches in the Middle East, Turkey and Africa (META) in the past year have led to people losing their jobs, says a new report from Kaspersky Lab and B2B International.

The study shows 45 per cent of businesses in META had at least one data breach in the last year. As for the staff involved, they don’t always get to keep their jobs afterwards. The report suggests even CEOs and other senior executives are not exempt from this kind of punishment. (Staff Report)
