The 16th Edition of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (Adihex) will begin on September 25 and will run until September 29 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (Adnec).

The region’s largest exhibition for hunting, equestrian and heritage preservation will attract more than 100,000 visitors from across the globe, officials said here on Monday.

Adihex this year will celebrate the legacy of the UAE’s founding father, the late Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

The event will be held under the patronage of Shaikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Emirates Falconers Club.

Adihex is known for the extensive participation of local and international companies in the field of environmental conservation and cultural heritage, hunting, tourism, safaris, weapons, falconry, equestrian, marine sports, outdoor leisure and vehicle equipment. This is in addition to arts, crafts and entertainment for children.

“Based on the experience of previous editions, the exhibition will be turned into a global destination with an interactive and educational journey that inspires visitors to get more cultural awareness,” said Majid Ali Al Mansouri, chairman of the higher organising committee of Adihex and secretary-general of the Emirates Falconers’ Club.
