Special immigration stamp for Saudi visitors in Dubai
GDRFA initiative comes ahead of Saudi Arabia’s 88th National Day
Immigration officers surprised Saudi visitors at Dubai International Airport yesterday with a warm welcome.
The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai issued a special stamp in their passports to mark Saudi Arabia’s 88th National Day on Sunday.
The airport’s columns and interactive electronic displays were also adorned with the Saudi emblem while immigration counters were decorated ■ with the Saudi flag. Starting yesterday, Dubai airport’s celebrations will include a water salute to an aircraft arriving from Saudi Arabia while flowers, Arabic sweets and coffee will be offered to Saudi visitors. Saudi national songs will also be played in the arrivals section of Terminals 1, 2 and 3.
