Processions conclude peacefully

As many as 82 mourning processions of 9th Muharram concluded peacefully, yesterday. Strict security arrangements were made by the district administration to avert any untoward incident. About 5,000 police officials along with volunteers performed duties.

The district administration had installed 97 CCTV cameras at 57 locations with an aim to ensure tight security arrangements. All the processions were monitored from Control Room, established at Deputy Commissioner Office.
