DLD signs off Dh131b via service centres

- Staff Report

Atotal of Dh131 billion — that’s what Dubai Land Department affiliated service centres cleared by way of property transactions between January and end August. This they did by serving more than 39,000 investors, according to the latest figures.

“The demand for service centres is evident due to the completed transactions,” said Sultan Butti Bin Mejren, Director-General. “This confirms the success of this project, which aims primarily to provide the department’s services throughout Dubai.”

The Land Department has opened 23 centres that offer all its services, including 16 real estate registration trustees and seven real estate services trustee offices.

“We introduced this system to provide a number of accredited offices that can register main real estate transactions at locations and branches operating outside the department’s hours and days,” the official added. “The desired success was achieved after the real estate registration services were made available on a wider scale in the emirate, without the need to book appointments at Land Department’s headquarters.”
