Mediclinic adopts new health care technology

TrakCare enables Mediclinic hospitals to achieve their clinical and financial goals

- Staff Report

InterSystems, a provider of health information technology, announced yesterday that Mediclinic Parkview Hospital has implemented InterSystems TrakCare as its unified health care information system.

Mediclinic Middle East (MCME), one of the largest private health care groups in the UAE, is on schedule to deploy TrakCare across all of its hospitals and clinics in the UAE during the next 17 months.

TrakCare Electronic Medical Record System (EMR) enables the group’s care providers to have a holistic view of each patient’s clinical, administrative and financial information at any given time.

Support

The EMR system supports MCME medical staff in their decision-making while creating more opportunities to offer patients an enhanced experience and seamless care journey as they spend less time waiting and avoid unnecessary tests. “At Mediclinic, our mission is to deliver excellent patient care and measurable quality clinical outcomes. We highly believe in utilising technology to achieve these goals and transform care delivery,” said Donna Lunn, Chief Information Officer at Mediclinic Middle East.
