Pia gets Tussauds wax figure

Filipinos couldn’t hold in their excitement when it was announced on Monday that Pia Wurtzbach, who was crowned Miss Universe in 2015, would be the first Filipino to get a wax statue at Madame Tussauds.

The statue will be on display in early 2019 at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong, and join other A-list celebrities such as Nicole Kidman, Taylor Swift and Brad Pitt, among others.

“Wow! She is truly our pride. We are so proud of you, Pia,” said one user.

The museum said Wurtzbach recently went through the measurement process.

“It was really quite a process... One second, they were only taking photo of my face then next thing I know, I see my face from different angles,” she said.
