Youssou N’Dour Live

In celebration of The Africa Institute and reopening of the historic Africa Hall, live performances will be hosted, kicking off with Grammy award-winning musician and Senegalese icon Youssou N’Dour (above) and his group Le Super Etoile de Dakar, at Africa Hall, Al Manakh, Sharjah, 9pm. Tickets from Dh60. Upcoming concerts include Oumou Sangare performing tomorrow, Mulatu Astatke on Friday; DJ Peter Adjaye and Lisa Simone on Saturday and Somi on Sunday. Additionally, on Friday a free film screening of An Opera of the World, directed by Manthia Diawar at 5pm, open to the public.
