Mock evacuation drill at Abu Dhabi Airport

Dhabi Airport will conduct a phased evacuation exercise in the departure area of Terminal 1 today in accordance with the emergency action plan requirements issued by UAE Civil Defence and in compliance with standards and recommendations by Abu Dhabi Occupational Safety and Health Centre (OSHAD), a statement by Abu Dhabi Airports said.

The mock drill from 9 to 10am will assess preparedness of emergency response agencies. Airport operations will not be affected by the drill, the statement read.
