No more paper tickets in Al Ain and Al Dhafra

Department of Transport (DoT) in Abu Dhabi announced that it has completed the implementation of the third phase of activating the automated payment system in Al Ain City and Al Dhafra Region. Bus users will be able to use only Hafilat Smart Cards as paper tickets will no longer be accepted starting Sunday.

Hafilat Smart Cards can be purchased from the Ticket Sales Offices at all bus stations in Al Ain and Al Dhafra. That is in addition to the ticket vending machines. DoT has already started the implementation and activation of the automated payment system using Hafilat Smart Cards. (Staff Report)
