Reduces traffic

Carpooling and private taxis are two different things to me (“Dh3,000 fine for carpooling in UAE”, Gulf News, September 19). While private taxis should be banned, carpooling, without monetary benefits, should be encouraged to reduce traffic, parking congestion and environmental problems.
