CUD welcomes first batch of GEMS students

University offers scholarshi­ps to the value of Dh10m to GEMS graduates

Sixteen students from GEMS Education high schools have enrolled for degree programmes at Canadian University Dubai (CUD), as part of the ongoing UniConnect programme, under which the university offers scholarshi­ps to the value of Dh10 million to GEMS Education graduates.

Sheldon D’Souza from GEMS Our Indian School — Al Quoz, who is studying marketing, ■ says he was very impressed with CUD.

Interior design student Sasha Ravendrada­s from GEMS Dubai American Academy says she hopes to spend two years at CUD and then transfer to either Ryerson or Vancouver University.
