Sharjah go top of the AGL league table
Sharjah
went top of the Arabian Gulf League (AGL) thanks to a 3-0 win at home over Fujairah on Friday night.
They are unbeaten with a perfect 12 points from four games, two ahead of Al Jazira.
At the other end of the standings, Kalba defeated Al Nasr 3-1 to extend the visitors’ winless start to the season.
Al Nasr are joint bottom of the AGL table with Al Dhafra, with both sides yet to pick up their first points of the campaign.
Bani Yas maintained their unbeaten run as they stunned Al Wahda 4-2 at Bani Yas Stadium. (Staff Report)
