African artists in performance to celebrate The Africa Institute and reopening of Africa Hall. Today, DJ Peter Adjaye, also known as AJ Kwame, considered a key figure on the contemporary Afromusic scene performs at 7pm in Mirage City Cinema, Al Mureijah Square, Sharjah. Free and open to the general public. Also, daughter of the legendary Nina Simone, Lisa Simone (above) a distinguished jazz and soul singer, will take to the stage at Africa Hall, Al Manakh, Sharjah.
