Motorist kills 2 British women in Oman

in Oman say two British women have died and their countryman was injured after being hit by a car in the sultanate.

Royal Oman Police said on Twitter on Friday the crash happened in Salalah, near its Haffa market.

The driver of the car did not have a licence and an investigation into the crash had begun, officials said.

Oman’s Tourism Ministry identified the victims’ nationalities. It said the man was in a stable condition. Officials did not name those involved in the crash. (AP)
