Lawyers in token strike over LHC bench

Lawyers observed a token strike here yesterday to press their demand for the early establishment of the Lahore High Court (LHC) bench in the city.

No lawyer appeared before courts yesterday, due to which the litigants, especially bail-seekers, had to face a great deal of difficulties. Talking to the media, the spokesman of the District Bar Association (DBA) in Faisalabad said that the LHC bench was the constitutional right of the people of Faisalabad division, which would help providing speedy justice to the masses of the area.
