Pupils from 15 schools participated in the event, which saw them speaking and creating posters based on the life of Shaikh Zayed.
The posters life of Shaikh highlighted the Zayed and the achievements of the UAE from 1918 to 2020 in respect of his vision.
Each school prepared a mural having quotes of the great leader as well as the development of the country.
Pakistan’s Consul General in Dubai Syed Javed Hassan was the chief guest along with Dr Omar Al Muthanna, CEO, Community Development Authority.
Hassan appreciated the efforts put in by the students and teachers. He also paid homage to the founding father of the UAE, calling him “a genuine leader who believed in the uplift of his people.”
“The main focus of this event was to educate the youth of the enlightened leadership of Shaikh Zayed. The Pakistani youth especially should learn from the legacy of Shaikh Zayed and follow his footprints,” said Samina Nasir, who heads the education committee at PAD.
