Emirates NBD starts Friday banking

Emirates NBD has announced the introducti­on of Friday banking at three of its popular mall branches — Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, and Mirdif City Centre. Customers now have the flexibilit­y to conduct banking at their own convenienc­e, with these branches now open on Friday between 3 and 9pm.

The new Friday hours will enable customers seeking to open accounts or apply for credit cards or loans to interact with experience­d sales advisers, in addition to using the bank’s 24/7 digital self-service channels.

“Our strategy is to proactivel­y seek ways in which we can improve customer experience, with accessibil­ity to our services at their convenienc­e being our priority. We appreciate the fact that many of our customers live busy lives, and by opening up our branches in additional hours, we hope to make meeting their banking needs easier than ever before,” said Suvo Sarkar, Senior Executive Vice President and Group Head — Retail Banking and Wealth Management Emirates NBD.

The introducti­on of Friday banking marks another milestone in its customer first’ journey. The bank’s ‘high tech meets high touch’ philosophy has seen Emirates NBD evolve its branch network and operation timings to respond to changing customer needs, by introducin­g convenient digital self-service channels, in addition to offering customers the opportunit­y to interact with sales advisers at the times and locations of their preference.
