Field hospital for the elderly inaugurated

Shaikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Volunteering Programme inaugurated the first field hospital for elderly people as part of a series of local and international volunteer and humanitarian initiatives to mark International Day for Elderly People, which was observed on October 1.

The hospital will provide diagnosis, treatment and preventive services for elderly people, especially women, under the supervision of volunteer doctors from the UAE. (WAM)
