New train for low-income people planned

Railway minister Shaikh Rashid Ahmad yesterday said the Pakistan Railways was planning to launch new train — the Rehman Baba — only for low-income people in the country.

He said this during a meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on Railways, chaired by Senator Mohammad Asad Ali Khan Junejo and attended by senators Gianchand, Saadia Abbasi and Imumuddin Shouqeen, as well as Aftab Akber, CEO of Pakistan Railways, and other senior ministry officials. (APP)
