Defence Secretary in Sri Lanka visit

Secretary of Pakistan, Lt. General (R) Ikramul-Haq during his four-day visit to Sri Lanka called on the military leadership of that country.

He met with the Chief of Defence Staff of Sri Lanka, Admiral R.C. Wijeygunaratne, Commander of Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Marshal Kapila Jayampathy, Commander of Sri Lanka Army, Lt. Gen. Mahesh Senanayake, Commander of Sri Lanka Navy and Vice Admiral Sirimevan Ranasinghe. Dr Shahid Ahmad Hashmat, High Commissioner of Pakistan, was also present. (APP)
