Lulu cooks up gourmet storm with Italian Food Festival

Event is being held across all LuLu stores in UAE and runs until October 9

LuLu has launched its weeklong Italian food festival entitled “Savour the Best of Italy”, where authentic flavours and great-tasting food products of Italy will be showcased.

The exciting food week was inaugurated by Liborio Stellino, Italian Ambassador to the UAE, at LuLu Hypermarket Mushrif Mall, Abu Dhabi. Two launch events were also held at Al Barsha, Dubai and Kuwaitat, Al Ain.

LuLu Group International Executive Director Ashraf Ali M.A. said: “Every month, we come up with special in-store activities and food festivals to showcase a specific country’s traditional dishes and quality produce that are well loved in the UAE. This festival is one successful proof that our loyal customers make Italian products a staple to their feasting tables. We are grateful to the Italian Embassy, Italian Trade Agency, and Ministry of Economy for the continuous partnership and support in organising this event.”

Apart from great quality food products, LuLu will also be showcasing Italian cuisine, from traditionally baked pizzas to sumptuous pastas, and mouthwatering desserts. Moreover, any sweet tooth would indulge in tiramisus and other Italian biscuits and chocolates.
