Oyarzabal converts two spot-kicks to seal derby clash

Real Sociedad won a derby at Basque neighbours Athletic Bilbao 3-1 on Friday to move up to eighth in La Liga and leave their rivals hovering just above relegation.

Mikel Oyarzabal scored the first of his two spot-kicks after former Sociedad defender Inigo Martinez was judged by the video assistant referee to have kicked an opponent while contesting a high ball.

Athletic equalised from Iker Muniain. The visitors then retook the lead through Luca Sangalli. But Oyarzabal struck again from the spot in the 74th minute to kill the game.
