Register for Desert Run at Al Marmoom

The first in a three-part series, taking place on October 12 (6am) and open to runners of all levels with a 5-kilometre or 10-kilometre run offer. Registration for the first event is closing tomorrow. Spanning more than 40 hectares of shrub land, the unfenced Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve is home to hundreds of species of animals and birds, both native and migratory, including flamingos, and this gives runners and fitness enthusiasts the opportunity to enjoy the views as the sun rises across the desert. For Dh105, take part in the competitive and family-friendly event and all runners will receive participation medals.
