Smart gate users
Smart gate users are automatically eligible to use the smart tunnel as their information is already registered in the system.
Passengers who have not used smart gates have to register their information at one of two dedicated kiosks, or the registration counter beside the passport control section at Dubai airport.
Carry your passport
All passengers must carry their passport with them and ensure its validity for more than six months from the date of travel as they will need to present the document in the country to which they are travelling.
