National Day celebrations to honour Zayed legacy

The official 47th UAE National Day celebrations — named ‘This is Zayed. This is the UAE’ — will take place at Zayed Sports City Stadium on December 2 with stunning performances, the organisers announced yesterday.

In one night, over 22,000 spectators will be part of this historic celebration, which will include a breathtaking show that will take spectators through an immersive experience of live performances and stunning digital art.

‘This is Zayed. This is the UAE’ will feature magnificent visual light effects, performances, inspirational readings and futuristic visual art. The celebrations, coinciding with the Year of Zayed, will commemorate the progress of the UAE, founded 47 years ago through the vision and foresight of Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

The event will be the culmination of a year-long expression of love and appreciation for the UAE’s founding father.
