Overwhelming response for housing scheme
A huge demand for registration forms for the newly launched Naya Pakistan Housing Programme yesterday crashed the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) yesterday, after 0.2 million users visited it from 174 countries.
Prime Minister Imran Khan announced the programme a day earlier and vowed to meet the housing shortage in the country by building five million houses in five years. He said it would not only provide affordable shelter, but also ensure that residents get all modern facilities. (APP)
