Standing tall

The statue, with a height of 182 metres, is almost double the height of the Statue of Liberty which is 93 metres.

3,400 workers and 250 engineers are working roundthe-clock at the site of the statue on Sadhu Bet island on the Narmada river.

The statue is built at a cost of Rs23.89 billion (Dh1.19 billion), standing 3.2 km downstream from the Narmada dam on the islet.
