Portal to help school investors launched

- Staff Report

Abu Dhabi has launched an investor’s portal to assist investors in taking informed decisions about establishing private schools in the emirate.

The Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge’s (Adek) launched the portal as part of Abu Dhabi government’s participation in the 38th Gitex Technology Week in Dubai, said an Adek statement yesterday.

The newly designed electronic platform offers various features to support investors’ decision making by offering transparent and updated information on student distribution across the emirate.

The platform works as a one-stop shop for investors, offering a dashboard with pivotal details on private schools such as students travelling in and out from various districts, a comparison between enrolments versus capacity etc. The investors may also filter schools by curricula, region or a specific city.

Adek also provides extra assistance and support to investors while deciding to set up their new private school premises through allocating an educational land or building.
