Dh600 will charged for each extension. Dh100 per day fine for violators starting 10 days after visa expiry. Expatriates living in GCC countries and those accompanying citizens of Gulf countries do not qualify for visa extention. Those on special entry permits and 96-hour special mission entry visas are also not included. Visas for children — 18 and above: Children sponsored by parents after completing their university or high school, or those turning 18 years, will be given a one-year residency visa that can be renewed for another year on payment of Dh100 fee.
