Mother, child tortured to death

woman and her daughter were tortured to death, and her two children injured, by her husband, police said.

Sources said that Zafar, a resident of Phularwan area of Tehsil Bhalwal married Asia Bibi, a widow who had children from her first husband. Zafar wanted to get her daughters married off without Asia Bibi’s consent, so she left his house.

Zafar, along with accomplices, entered her home and tortured her and the children. Asia Bibi and one daughter died, while her two other kids were left seriously injured. (APP)
