Light it up

The Burj Khalifa will be illuminated in pink every Friday and Saturday throughout the month of October to honour breast cancer awareness month and create awareness. The illumination will feature the symbol of the month, the Pink Ribbon, followed by a short one-minute video on breast cancer awareness. The video will also be played, twice daily, at 8.14pm and 9.14pm. Additionally, The Dubai Fountain will also run pink circles around the lake for 60 seconds during the show.

Biggest Book Sale

The Big Bad Wolf Book Sale is stocked with a whopping three million new English-language books of all genres available at discounts of 50-80 per cent, this marathon book sale ends at 11.59pm on October 28 (open 24 hours). The sale will be held at the Sound Stage, Dubai Studio City. Careem is offering existing and new customers 25 per cent discount on four rides per person to and from the venue.

Bedouin Culture Tour

Learn about Arabian horses with this two-hour culture tour, designed to provide a fun and informative experience of the Arabian culture. The tour allows you to get up close and personal with Arabian horses and learn about their role in Bedouin society. Think Pink

A group exhibition showcasing artworks to offer support and pay tribute to cancer survivors and fighters, to mark Breast Cancer month at Al Ghurair Centre. The exhibiting artists include, Karishma Hansen, Shiba Khan, Shibina Ann and more. On display during mall hours, until October 30. All artworks on sale.
