Sharjah to set up child safety department

Sharjah

will establish a child safety department with Hanadi Saleh Al Yafei as its director. This decision will transform the existing Child Safety Campaign — an initiative of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA) in Sharjah — into a ‘department’. The decision will expand the department’s scope of work and increase the support allocated to it.

The campaign was launched in 2011 as an initiative of the SCFA. It dedicates each edition to raise awareness about a topic related to child safety. (Staff Report)
