Sharjah Police to issue desert driver licences

Sharjah Driving Institute of Sharjah Police has launched training and issuing of new desert driver licences for individuals.

The decision will be implemented in cooperation with Sharjah Tourism Development Authority (TRA), from today, to enhance security, safety. The desert driving programme includes a special training course, including theoretical and practical training at the Sharjah Driving Institute in desert areas and over sand dunes and how to deal with vehicles if stuck in the sand.
