Ban on hunting, live catching of cranes relaxed
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has relaxed its ban on hunting and live catching of cranes in the province for the fall season 2018 — from October 18 to November 15, 2018.
Crane hunting camps will be allowed to catch a maximum of twenty cranes during the season. The number of cranes in a camp shall not exceed ten pairs. The fee for possession of cranes will be Rs300 (Dh8.24) per bird per annum and the fee for establishing crane camps in the season will be Rs3,000 per camp. (APP)
