Big in Japan Weekend

Louvre Abu Dhabi is hosting its Big in Japan weekend from today, inspired by the museum’s exhibition Japanese Connections: The Birth of Modern Decor. Running until Saturday, the weekend kicks off with two nights of performance by Japanese Turntable Symphonograph Orchestra, reconstructing classical music by spinning vinyl records, using turntables and mixers as instruments. DJ Rena (pictured), the youngest champion of the DMC World DJ Championship and DJ IKU who won in 2012 will perform. Tickets at Dh100. + louvreabudhabi.ae
